Conversation Series - $2,500

ACS holds Community Conversations every year with key elected officials and other community leaders, such as the County Executive, our State Delegation, the School Superintendent, and others. These meetings provide an opportunity for nonprofits to hear directly from policy and decision makers and, in turn, provide their insights into the needs within our community.

Lending Library - $1,250

The lending library will create a book exchange within the NonProfit Collaborative on topics of interest to nonprofit professionals, such as nonprofit management, strategic planning, fundraising, and program evaluation. Books will be available to borrow or keep.

Board Training - $1,250

Joining a nonprofit Board of Directors is an amazing opportunity for county residents to support valued causes and contribute to the well-being of our community. ACS' board training workshops, offered twice/year, will equip new and potential board members with the knowledge they need to be effective in this important role. The workshops will be promoted through organizations like Leadership Howard County and the Chamber of Commerce.

Exec-to-Exec Forums - $500

It's lonely at the top! Exec-to-Exec forums provide a safe space for nonprofit executives to share their challenges and successes, learning together how to successfully navigate the complexities of their jobs. Exec-to-Exec forums are held quarterly.
