Our advocacy priorities focus on reshaping systems that impact the nonprofit sector and the overall wellbeing of the community. We work on issues that:
- Strengthen the ability of nonprofit organizations to operate effectively.
- Improve the quality of life of Howard County residents. This includes efforts to:
• Promote long-term housing stability
• Bolster financial stability and food security
• Expand quality, affordable, and accessible childcare
• Promote the health, well-being, and environment of residents
• Enhance transit and mobility options and reliability
• Address systemic racism and reduce racial disparities
